A little school house in Galt, that once hummed with the voices of
children, now buzzes with a different sound. That's the sound of Ontario
beekeepers who flock here to buy bees and bee supplies. The former
school is now a hive of activity as customers from as far away as Africa
stock up on comb, frames, hats, veils, medicines and honey processing
equipment year-round. Live Bees and Queen bees are available in the
spring.
Besides offering apiary equipment, it is a great place for advice and
hints. Lil Jacznik has been selling apicultural supplies since 1980. She
was introduced to the insects by her beekeeping father, and is a fifth
generation beekeeper.
The goal of Better Bee Supplies is to provide quality products and
service to advance and enhance the beekeeping tradition.
